Two deer-vehicle collisions were reported earlier this week in the Todd County area. Neil Grover of Browerville reported on March 11, that he had hit a deer while traveling on CO 7. The incident occurred 5:00 p.m. the previous day, but wasn’t reported until 10 a.m. the next day, as Grover was able to drive the vehicle home. Neil wasn’t injured in the accident. The second incident occurred March 12 at around 7:38 a.m. in Long Prairie. Toni Drum reported she hit a deer on 210 St. near the 165th Ave intersection. Toni wasn’t injured and was also able to drive home. There are many safety precaution methods to help prevent deer-vehicle collisions but the best way is through attentive driving behavior.
