A Pequot Lakes man won $250,000, after his winning ticket matched the first five numbers from the Mega Millions drawing last week. Brett Nienaber purchased the ticket at the Holiday Station in Baxter. Three other tickets in Minnesota were also worth $250,000. Julie Ryan and Bob Jerde of St. Paul and Russicha Deloach of New Hope claimed the other equal jackpots in Minnesota. For those who purchased a Mega Millions ticket in Hennepin County, should check their numbers, because the fourth ticket worth $250,000 hasn’t been claimed as of Tuesday, according to the Minnesota State Lottery. The odd of winning a cash prize in the Mega Millions is estimated to be about 1 in 40. Odds of winning the jackpot are about 1 in 175.7 million.
