A Fergus Falls High School 1991 graduate was just shy of being Jeopardy’s champion winner. Amy Ketterling was a returning champion on the show Jeopardy, when on her second day of returning she lost by $1. Ketterling was rewarded $30,000 on her first appearance and was up again by $30,000 her second round when she answered the final Jeopardy question correctly, which doubled her total. What would have been Ketterling’s winning question for the second time was defeated by her opponent who also answered the question right. Her opponent bet just enough above her to win by just $1. Ketterling won a total of $32,000 while on the show recorded December 14, 2011.
