The Wadena Police Department is investigating a theft that occurred at a 24-hour Laundromat in the City of Wadena. According to reports, the suspects used a “Lock puller” tool to break open the lock from a Pepsi pop machine and stole coins and dollar bills. The incident took place Monday, April 16 between the hours of 4:45- 5:15 a.m. A surveillance video obtained from the Laundromat owners revealed two suspects, one male and one female. The male suspect is described as white, tall, thin, short dark hair, clean shaven and he was wearing a black winter jacket with a design on the back appearing to be a red fire truck and two semi tractors. Further description of the jacket details the fire truck on the bottom and one semi tractor above on the left and the other to the right; there are no trailers on the semi tractors. Surveillance video also showed the male carrying a large backpack similar to a hiking or camping bag. The female suspect is described as very blonde at shoulder length with an old perm curl, approximately 5’4” and medium build.
