Authorities have ruled the deaths of an Alexandria woman and an Osakis man a murder-suicide. Sharon Christina Love, 38, was found dead on Thursday, April 19 in her home in Alexandria. Love’s landlord found her body and it appeared she had died of suspicious causes. Everett was seen leaving Love’s residence driving her car Wednesday, April 18 at approximately 6 p.m. With help from the public, police were able to locate the suspect David Dewain Everett, 51. Upon investigating the suspected area Everett was reportedly located, police found Everett dead in the car located inside a storage unit. It was said Love and Everett were in a relationship and were going through a break-up. Everett had moved out but was scheduled to meet with Love to obtain some left items at the house. During the meeting Love was attacked and killed in her apartment. Investigators said Everett then committed suicide in the storage unit, where he was found the next day after the reported death of Love. Authorities have not yet released the cause of death of either people.
