APRIL 23, 2018
On April 23, 2018 at 3:37 a.m. the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a house fire located on Fish Hook Drive, approximately three miles north of Park Rapids.
Upon arrival, deputies found the single story house fully engulfed in flames and the occupants of the residence were safely outside. The investigation showed that the two occupants were awaken by a noise outside of the residence. When they looked out they saw visible flames coming from outside the residence. The occupants and their dog were able to safely exit the residence. The Park Rapids Fire Department arrived and was able to extinguish the blaze. The cause of the fire is unknown. The incident remains under investigation by the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office.
